Bethany Gapinski Awarded Scholarship at UW-River Falls

Bethany Gapinski of Foley, MN, a sophomore majoring in crop and soil science at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls was one of seven UWRF students awarded a scholarship by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) to attend the 2012 MOSES Organic Farming Conference in La Crosse in February. This is the largest organic farming conference in the United States. The UWRF students attended sessions on Local Food Systems, Urband Gardening, and Student Run Organic Farms. Gapinski is a member of the new UWRF student orgnanization, Study Alliance for Local and Sustainable Agriculture.
