Nineteen student-athletes are on the roster of the 2012 University of Wisconsin-River Falls softball team.
Kristy Martinson, of New Richmond, WI, is a freshman with the 2012 team.
The Falcons won the 2011 WIAC regular season and tournament championships and finished 28-15 overall. They were 13-3 in WIAC play. The Falcons earned an automatic berth into last year's NCAA National Championships where they finished with a 2-2 record.
The Falcons opened their home schedule on April 4 by hosting UW-Eau Claire in a WIAC doubleheader at Ramer Field on campus.
