Wied Matthew Named an American Society for Horticultural Science Collegiate Scholar

Wied Matthew, of Pulaski, WI, has been named an American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) Collegiate Scholar. Matthew is majoring in horticulture at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

The ASHS award honors juniors and seniors majoring in horticulture for their academic achievement. Students must be in the top 15 percent of their class based on academic standing, and are selected based on their scholarship achievements, leadership abilities and service to their programs.

UW-River Falls is located on 226 acres 30 miles from downtown St. Paul, Minn. UWRF is a leader in exemplary teaching, undergraduate research and sustainability efforts.
